Family photos without the stress

Family sessions with me are easygoing. We walk, play, and let the kids be kids. I watch for the real moments, the piggyback ride, the grandpa laugh, the dog that will not sit still, and I guide you just enough to make sure we also get the one photo of everybody looking at the camera.

I photograph families in Lovell, Cowley, Byron, Powell, Cody, Greybull, Basin and Worland, and anywhere else in the Big Horn Basin. We can meet at Bighorn Lake, a canyon overlook, a quiet field in town, or your own place. Home and ranch sessions are some of my favorites.

Choosing a session

The Mini Session ($150, 30 minutes, 15 edited photos) is perfect for small families and holiday card photos. The Standard Portrait Session ($200, one hour, 30 edited photos, up to two locations) works best for bigger families, extended family groups and anyone who wants a couple of outfits.

What to wear

Coordinate, do not match. Pick two or three colors and layer up for the wind. My full guide on what to wear for family photos in Wyoming covers it all.

Newborns and pets

Newborn portraits and pet portraits are part of the family too. Ask me about timing for a newborn session, and bring the dog to any session.

Extended family and reunions

Grandparents in town for the holidays or a reunion at the lake? Larger groups are welcome. Plan on the Standard Portrait Session so we have time for the big group, each household and a few candids.
