Sharing Work on Instagram

What I like most about photography is the moment that you can’t anticipate: you have to be constantly watching for it, ready to welcome the unexpected.

I have been sharing photos and a lot of my thoughts recently on Instagram.  I find that Instagram is so much less intrusive on my own personal life than other social media platforms such as Facebook.  I like that Instagram is image based social media.  You can share your thoughts and opinions along with an image.

Do you hate the ads and reposts of Facebook? I do too and people who constantly repost things quickly lose their following on Instagram.  Facebook we often feel obligated to keep that person on our friends list because they are a close relative or friend but Instagram you can just dump that nonsense.

Travel photography is a huge portion of the posts on Instagram.  I love being able to see what other people are seeing around the world and it also gets my attention about a place that I may not have discovered elsewhere.  As I travel I will be posting most frequently on Instagram to my followers.  This platform will be quick (almost) daily posts to let people see what I am seeing.

So if you are interested in seeing my recent posts and photographs along with some of my previous work, follow me on Instagram:
